The Glen Lake Association (GLA) has a new website, www.glenlakeassociation.org. The website redesign focuses on usability and making the site more interactive and reflective of the beauty of the area. The new website comes on the heels of the recent award naming the Glen Lake Association the best lake association in the state by the Michigan Lake and Stream Associations.

Features of the redesign include a new home page filled with the most current information, easy-to-find water level information for Glen Lake and Crystal River, committee directories and updates and membership forms. Visitors are invited to submit favorite photos and contact the association with news, suggestions and questions.
Inspired and guided by suggestions from GLA members and volunteers, the website project was headed by current board members Jack Laitala and Shirley Hoagland.
“Our website is an important communication tool and information resource for riparians in the Glen Lake/Crystal River Watershed and the entire community,” said Laitala, who along with serving as chair of the water level committee also designed the original GLA website. “Our goal is to provide information about the lake, issues of concern to lake and riverfront property owners and be a conduit for topics of interest.”
