Aerial Footage: Shoreline and shoals of Big and Little Glen lakes

GLA has completed an experimental project involving flying a drone over 17 miles of the shoreline and shoals of Big and Little Glen lakes. The project has many applications for monitoring our water quality. This footage will be used to provide statistical analysis on a multitude of water quality issues, including: erosion; nutrient loading; land use practices; invasive species inventories and year to year comparisons as the shoreline changes in future years. This footage was filmed in August 2017.
